Who? Pokecheck is run by Ann Frazier, a die-hard hockey fan and a student at the University of Southern California.
What? Pokecheck was created to give a basic overview of hockey, focusing on the National Hockey League and its history, but not excluding other leagues and hockey events.
Why? I kept finding myself coming across people who had no idea how hockey was played, or what the teams were, or anything. While this could just be shrugged off as a byproduct of living in Southern California, I wanted to change that. So for my final project for my web design class, I created this site in its entirety over a three week span.
How? I used Photoshop and Dreamweaver, as well as lots of help from sites like Wikipedia, Hockey Reference, and Hockey DB for information.
